We are seeking an experienced and creative local Head Chef lead a dedicated and passionate kitchen team.
This role will report directly to the Venue Manager and you will play a vital part of the business planning process as well as designing and creating menus that fit the venues relaxed, beach side environment.
- A minimum 3 years Head Chef experience
- Experience delivering exceptional food in a fast paced restaurant, café and events kitchen
- Achieve business goals, financial budgets and service standards
- Ability to design and cost cafe, kiosk, function and canapé menus
- Managing associated kitchen costs including food and labour, recruitment of staff and general administration duties
- Strong creativity and ability to think outside the square while coaching and developing a team
- Extensive knowledge and a genuine passion for Australian local produce
- Complete understanding of HACCP standards and safe food handling procedures
